Holidays at Disney Parks are always a blast! After-hours events make the experience that much better! With Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, you get access to all the Halloween fun Disney World offers.

Not so scary Halloween

Mickey’s Not SO Scary Halloween Party is an after-hours event that offers exclusive parades, Halloween dance parties, shows, ride-theming, party-exclusive snacks, and much more. There is plenty to explore at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The best part is that it is all the family-friendly theming from Disney we all know and love. No scares just treats. With this being an after-hours event that does mean this event takes place in the evening, and into the night. Guests typically have access to the park as early as 6 pm and the event wraps up around midnight being the last parade show. After-hours events can be more difficult for the little ones in your groups. These events are best for kids (and adults) that are ok with being up late, littles that can sleep in a stroller, or if you can schedule your day to have a good nap just before arriving at the party.

Costumes:

TE Advisor Lizz loves to dress up for MNSSHP!

Costumes are such a fun part of this event! This is the only time guests can dress in full consume (with a few rules). This party is great for costume lovers that will enjoy getting creative for their party night.

Calling all foodies!

What would a Disney event be without exclusive snacks? Each year during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Disney creates exclusive snacks that are only available during the party. Last year was a few exclusive Ice Cream Treats, an Almond Corn Cake, special Halloween tots, Hot Dogs, and more. If you love trying new and unique flavors this is definitely a great event for you.

Exclusive Shows, Fireworks, and Parades:

One thing MNSSHP is known for is the Boo To You Parade. This parade takes place twice a night and will have some of your favorite villains, Grim Grinning Ghosts, and spooktacular floats. Exclusive shows with your favorite villains and witch sisters are the highlight of our evening at the party. And to top it all off there is an exclusive fireworks show with your host Jack Skellington, the projections onto the castle are just as fun as the fireworks themselves. If you enjoy shows, and parades during a typical day at Magic Kingdom you will love these Halloween-themed performances.

Character Meet and Greets:

If you love that hug from Mickey and Minnie, you’ll love to see them in their Halloween costumes. There is also plenty of Halloween Party exclusive characters we don’t get to see in the day to day at the parks. From Jack and Sally, various Disney Villans, to our classic friends dressed in their Halloween costumes. You’ll never know who will be waiting for you but it is always so much fun to meet characters we don’t usually see!

Trick-Or-Treating!

You can’t talk about Halloween without mentioning candy or Trick-or-Treating. You can trick or treat around Magic Kingdom at various stations. This is unlimited stops, and you will receive a bag for all your candy goodies during your entry into the party. There are allergy-friendly options- please ask the cast member at each candy station for the allergy-safe options.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Let’s hear from a few of our Travel Ease Advisors on why they love Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:

Halloween is a big deal in our family so we love extending the Halloween season by visiting in August or September. As an allergy family, I love the fact that Disney will provide allergy-friendly treats for my little ones so they don’t feel left out and they can enjoy tasty treats like everyone else. Dressing in a costume is a must for us, we love dressing in a themed family costume any chance we get!

Mickey's Not so scary Halloween party

Personally, my family loves it bc of the crowds! We are able to do so much more at night during the party then we would during the day! Of course it’s still a lot of people, but there is so much going on, it’s a perfect time to ride attractions! Especially when the kids get tired, and most families leave a little early. That gives a chance for adults/young adults to do more also!

With kids of all ages, there is truly a little something for all of them at MNSSHP! We love the exclusive shows and ride overlays. My youngest 2 are able to sleep in the stroller when they get too tired, and the rest of our group is able to continue to enjoy the low crowds, Halloween Party exclusive characters, and more! It is a must-do on our Disney trips in the fall.
